Our story begins with Chloe, our beautiful Queensland Heeler mix, who was our heart and soul for 13 wonderful years. In 2023, we were given the heart-wrenching news that Chloe had cancer after an emergency surgery, and the vet told us she likely had just three months left. During that difficult time, I began making candles to create a sense of comfort and peace in our home, a little light in the darkest of moments.

One evening, as Chloe lay nestled in the center of our bed, the idea came to me — what if I could capture the essence of a dog breed in a candle? I began with the Golden Retriever, our origin candle, and based the scent on the warmth and joy that breed brings to mind. I shared these candles with family and friends, and to my surprise, they all loved them, realizing I might have something truly special.

Sadly, Chloe passed away early in 2024, leaving a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. But her spirit lives on in every candle I make, and with each one, I hope to share the comfort and love that she brought into our lives.
